today’s plan

So far, I had some oatmeal with almond butter and honey, and a cup of detox tea.

I did some side bends, crunches, plies. Going to yoga at 4:30. Afterwards, get a latte or a roll of sushi for fuel.

Roasted chicken with potatoes and salad for dinner.

Except, fuck, I am hungry now.

good start

Did two reps of side crunches, plank, and fire hydrants. Now I’m eating oatmeal with bananas, cinnamon, and 1%. Going to go run some errands, and make a healthy sandwich to take to work.

what’s with today, today?

Today is going to be an off day. I need to drink a lot of cran juice to stop a UTI, and I also need to eat more starchy food than usual because my stomach is messed up from delaying BCP one day.

So far, just juice and coffee. Will have a piece of bread with hummus before I go.

At work today: Eat a side salad and black bean soup with avocado.

I have a date after work. I don’t feel like going.

weigh-in

They weighed me at the doctor yesterday. Despite slacking on exercise and nibbling at work, I’ve lost 7.5 pounds. The doctor looked at my chart and noticed the last time I had been there. “You’ve lost a lot a lot of weight. Seventeen pounds. In less than a year.”

It felt really nice to hear that from a stranger.

I start moving again on Friday. Hopefully, once I have my own space, I can get back into my silly bedroom workout routine.

It might be taking awhile, but at least I’m getting there, and not in a way where I can’t enjoy dinners or drinks with friends.
